WWPS International PV Strategy & PV Excellence Consultant

The Worldwide Patient Safety group is responsible for pharmacovigilance and pharmaco-epidemiology deliverables including single case and aggregate safety monitoring, safety reporting, contribution to benefit-risk assessment, risk management planning and strategy, and execution of certain post-marketing commitments and ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements.


This role should:

  • Ensure operational PV excellence in support of the WWPS International organisation
  • Provide support to the WWPS International PV Strategy & PV Excellence function for the purpose of maintaining a standard of quality and compliance with existing global regulations, compliance requirements and internal policies and procedures
  • Support strategic projects involving WWPS International


  • Project Management support for the projects run within the WWPS International as applicable
  • Support PV Intelligence activities that are conducted by WWPS International PV Strategy & PV Excellence function; Evaluating of evolving regulatory, and company compliance requirements including directives, policies and procedures related to Global Pharmacovigilance activities, in liaising with key functions at WWPS (i.e. Global Operations), support the interpretation of BMS PSMF data outputs and coordinating as WWPS International corrective/preventative actions as needed
  • Proactively identify process improvements to increase effectiveness and efficiency of WWPS International organisation
  • Coordination of PSUR submissions within EEA as necessary; Partner with other functions within the WWPS (i.e. Global Operations) and other service provider personnel as necessary
  • Lead and contribute to integration Initiatives as assigned and as required
  • Ensure business continuity as needed
  • Support Change Management activities for WWPS International

Votre profil


  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry with at least 3 years PV exposure
